Steel furnace
The steel furnace is the second tier of furnace. Compared to the stone furnace, it smelts at double the speed and is therefore a more efficient use of the given fuel, but emits twice as much pollution. Compared to the electric furnace, the steel furnace is smaller, smelts items at the same speed by default and smelting consumes 90kW in fuel as opposed to the electric furnace's 180kW in electricity
